After _ Abattoir _ everything everywhere seems soft.

Depends on your slant. If you like the really hard electro, yes. I
still dig it though. Is it Noisex, Coil (early) or Merzbow? No.
Little is though.

I'm not a noise fan (use of noise in electro-EBM, sure).
I've never had a Noisex or Coil release, and the only Merzbow I've
had was _ Venereology _, wot I played the shortest and most rhythmic
piece off of for a friend (loud, of course), and he curled up into a
fetal ball.
I could sympathize.

Then there were the CD cover/liner photos,
wot I can't even bring myself to describe.

I like Winterkälte. I believe that is classified as noise.

It's been a long time since I listened to them, didn't know they were
still around. I bought a copy of Drum N Noise and was thusly pleased...a
decade or so ago. I'll have to look it back up.
