Seems that if ya kaint read music ya aint got no won ta jamb wif :(
Sheesh...music scene up heah is daid...
you play bass, you don't need to know anything bar the chord being
played and then, basicly, just hitting root & fith and holding a
steady beat.
I can pump out 1/8th notes for hours, sure :)
I tend to play up an octave and do the lead parts.
A-ha! you are actually Chris Squire!
(Woopsie...getting trigger happy with the send button.)
I can play 'owner of a lonely heart' note for note :)
Kind of late low Yes there--they lost me after _ Relayer _, wot the main
piece of, "Gates of Delirium", was rather rackety (guitar overload) and
rather too obviously a (failed) attempt to repeat the glories of "Close
to the Edge" and _ Tales from Topographic Oceans _--too much too soon
with Moraz, I think, who given a chance might've come into his own with
'em--although the two "smaller" (ten-minute) pieces, "Sound Chaser" and
"To Be Over", are decent.

At their best, viz. with _ Fragile _ and _ Close to the Edge _, which
could've been released as a double-LP and no-one would've noticed
anything, they were absolutely concertante all around. Just amazing.

Good times, good music, wish I could remember it.

Did you ever catch Moraz's (pre-Yes, IIRC) "i"? very interesting South
American rhythms in an electronic-rock context:

Senile reminiscences. The acid didn't help.
